A user might forget their password and not be able to reset it themselves. A user also may never have received a password if the account was created by an admin. If the admin doesn't have the password somewhere or if the user has lost it, resetting the password by the admin may be necessary.
Reset a user's password by selecting the user in the user list and click "Reset password" in the extended row. You'll need to verify the new password. After doing this, inform the user of their new password and also request that they change the password to something only they know.
